Inspired by Norman McLaren's Neighbours (1952) and Wolfgang and Christoph Lauenstein's Balance (1989), Underneath It All presents a feud between a rotoscoped figure and a claymation figure. Both ultimately realize they are not different--as both are essentially media for animation. This piece was created as a group effort, where I contributed to rotoscoping.
